Abby Nathanson is the founder and coordinator of 3C. She graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she studied Sociology and Africana Studies, and also served as an intern for the Youth Arts Group. She currently works for Women's Power Space, an initiative for women's leadership, collaboration, yoga and arts in downtown Poughkeepsie. She can be reached at [email protected].
Andres Chamorro Youth Empowerment Coordinator, artist / educator / activist, has led the Youth Arts Group of the Rural & Migrant Ministry since 2004, where he guides young people in using the arts to create social justice. Prior to joining RMM, he spent 8 years at the Village of Arts and Humanities in Philadelphia, providing arts education to inner city youth, teachers, and adults. Mr. Chamorro also formed Art for Change, a coalition of artists who brought arts workshops to the community and educators in the U.S. and his native Ecuador. His mission as an artist is to empower others with the transformative nature of art.
Giselle Sanchez-Huerta is a student at Vassar College and is currently working as an intern for the Youth Arts Group, and assists in coordinating 3C.
Spencer Tilger coordinated the pilot program in summer 2014. Spencer studied Geography at Vassar College and is currently working for The Agenda Project where he coordinates the Top Wonks initiative of progressive policy experts.
